I know is going to sound really cheesy, but I purchased a cheap Fender Strat-style double neck on ebay. I wanted to replace the necks with genuine Fender necks (i.e. 6 string maple neck & Fender 12 string maple neck). I have been able to find Fender Stratocaster 6 string electric guitar necks on ebay, but nothing on a genuine Fender 12 string electric guitar neck, (i.e. from a Fender Stratocaster XII or Fender XII). Does anyone know where I can buy just the neck from a Fender XII or Stratocaster 12 string electric guitar? I know it sounds stupid, to have a Fender neck and headstock on a cheap Made In China double neck to make myself think I'm playing a real genuine Fender, but it's more that just having the name. Please let me know.
