proper order of rack effects......
OK Here's the situation, I need someone who's skilled with rack mountable effects to lend me a hand, here's the current stuff I have for a rig.
Furman power conditioner.
BBE 362 sonic maximizer
and a Digitech GSP PRO 21 legend.
my amp is a MARSHALL MG100HDFX head with the complimenting full stack of 2 4X12 cabs slant / straight.
I also have a dunlop original crybaby wah pedal .
The question is how can i best use these items in unison to achieve a great sounding rig, I know of course that the Furman is first in the rack and then the tuner ( when i get one) but what next??the digitec has fx send and return, the BBE 362 sonic maximizer has 2 input and two outputs, and the marshall has one input, and of course the marshal also has the standard two stomp switches to turn effects and channel select off and on, the main prob im having is ..
A. setting up the rack in the proper order ( I have the manuals also , still no help)
B. when using the effects on the digitech gsp all is good but when i go to bypass for that RAW MARSHALL sound its almost as if the Marshall distortion and volume levels are way low. theres gotta be a way to make the Digitech and the Marshall head sound equal in levels when the bypass on the Digitech is engaged. ive tried setting back the levels in the Digitech manually per the parameter setting and still I get the same response ,
Is there a proper way to use these items in a special configuration that will work ?? someone please comment, I could really use some help here. thanks.

I'm not sure entirely what you're asking here. I'll give it a shot.

So, your units are:
Crybaby
Furman
BBE 362
Digitech GSP
MARSHALL MG100HDFX

Basically, you need to follow the basics of ordering effects.

This is how it should look:

Guitar>Crybaby>MG Preamp>FX Out>Digitech>BBE>FX In

The power conditioner is not part of the signal chain.

Rack order should have your power conditioner on the bottom or top, with the Digitech and BBE next to eachother. Just run the FX out to the Digitech input, then from the output of that to the BBE input, then from the BBE output to the FX in.

I'm not sure about the digitech level controls, but I'm pretty sure the master volume on Digitech units resets to 34 whenever you restart it, so adjust the volume of each individual patch and save it.

I'm assuming the BBE should be last, unless it's a guitar specific preconditioner, in which case, you could put it first, but I'd suggest last because of the way the unit works.
