i really dont know too much about the technics of acoustic guitars. I have an ibanez PF10 and i realllllyyy love the sound and the playability, it is a mahogany back,sides and neck and a spruce top. if i were to buy a ibanez AEG10 which is also mahogany body and sides and neck, witha spruce top, should i expect the same (similar) tone (it also has a cutaway which the PF10 does not)?

When you buy an acoustic guitar with a cutaway, you can expect your tone to also be "cut away". It won't be a huge difference, but probably noticeable if you transfer to a guitar with a cutaway.
