They're OK, I'd think about getting EMG or Bartolini pickups put in it, but I fond the neck action was good, and you've gotta love that shape haven't you?

I had one, one of those korina ones. It was okay, but not that great, I probably got a crappy one though. The sound was cool, you can get really good early metallica sounds, like stuff off kill 'em all, punchy and "woody" in the bridge position, warm and smooth in the neck position, both pickups together is a little muddy though. As for the feel, I thought it felt cheap, it didn't feel like a gibson, the feel matched up with the price of the guitar. It was neck heavy too, well maybe all v's are, I dunno. But overall, if you really want that v shape and you only have that much money, this guitar is okay, sounds cool, looks cool, feels cheap, and plays good. But if you only have that much money and want the v shape, I would say look into some ESP LTD's or some Korean made Jackson's. By the way, I took mine back to the store and lost a little money and got some effects and an Ibanez Iceman Ic300, which I still use as my main guitar.
