AVT100 Lead Tone [Archive]

Any Idea how I can set my Marshall up for a fantastic lead sound in the style of Gary Moore?

I know he uses Marshall amps (various) and I think he uses DSL's at the moment but I can't get the sound.

He also uses a Mashall Guv'nor pedal and sometimes a TS9 which I don't have but I do have a Marshall OD1 which has Boost / Blues functions.

If anyone can help then please let me know.

Haha! I have both of those amps! (dsl 100 and avt 100), and the AVT can't touch the DSL. I will have a look on the AVT tommorow, and see what I can come up with, if you want?
