Tell me you thoughts I am thinking about gettting a new rig wich is undetemined at this time for the follwing reason:
Ampeg has produced a 4X12
Has anyone play with this cab yet?
I was thinking of purchasing that with a 18"sub (your thoughts here) Has anyone played on one of 18's either? I do not live close to a (your favorite guitar store name here) so I can't just up and play with these items. The Head is the only for sure thing about wich is the SVT-3 but I would of course need to run it throught the above cabinets to fully understand the sound I am getting so If you (as the community) can give a little insite that would be helpful. Thanks Jimbo:)

As far as I knew Ampeg didn't make a 4x12 so I really can't help you there, is this new or old? Either way I'd assume it is of high quality and I can tell you I'm very hapy with my 410hlf. In fact I'd suggest looking at one of them. They'd likely be a touch smaller than the 4x12 and they have as good if not better bass response than many 1x15's.

The only Ampeg enclosure I have seen with 12's is the SVT412HE but the vast majority come with either 10's or 15's. There is probably a reason for this.

The cabs for the V-4 heads (a guitar amp) were 4x12" cabs, if I'm not mistaken.
