Blues Bass

I'm looking for a good blues bass any suggestions?

I would like some options. I have concidered the Fender P and J-Bass. I just was wondering if there where other options. I'm used to playing blues on an upright bass but I havent had one of those in a few years. If I did that would be what I would use.:D

Gibson/Epiphone EB-0? (Depending on how much moolah you have :p )

This is one of the few times I will ever suggest a Gibson Bass - but you should try a Gibson Thunderbird. I have used one a couple of times and they just didn't have the punch I like - but they do have a deep, smooth bass sound.
