Bass for an intermediate? which one?

how many strings? What style of music?

I've only owned 3 basses in my life. A knockoff EBO, a Dean Edge I, and a Carvin B4. The Carvin is the best playing bass I've ever played. I have the action at 1/8" at the 12th fret.:eek: :D You should be able to find a used one on ebay for around $300.

The Carvin's definitely too modern for this guy. Check out a Burns Bison Bass if you want a unique old school looking and sounding bass for cheap.
