Mallets!

Are bass player uses mallets on his fingers ala' Tony Levin....

I was wondering if anybody else out there does this for I have just seen my bass player and Levin.

i believe that tony levin used "mallets" on his chapman stick. i've seen that done by a couple people. why he would do this? i don't know. i'd love to get myself a chapman an try it out though.

They're not called "mallets" - they're called "funk fingers". Levin invented them, uses them, and sporadically sells them. They're sawn-off drumsticks that attatch to your fingers.

I don't know if anybody is going to read this, but I just want to say I'm the first person to post here in like a month. So maybe I'm off topic, but I don't know what mallets are.
