hi,

I'm jus curious, I let my brother fool around with my Martin the other day and the stupid a$$ put some pick scratches in the finish in a really wired spot, the section just to the night of the bridge (he strumd funky cause he can't play), anyway, how do I get rid of these scratches? Can I use like automotive paint polish? Will the martin Guitar polish work? I just wanna buff thisstuff out before my big Christmas show with my friends and family.

Aww man... That really sucks... Yeah, I don't really trust people with my guitars. Since, on the first day I got my Martin, someone who actually did know how to play took it out of it's case and banged the headstock against a brick wall... Yeah... Even though it didn't leave a mark, my guitars are off limits to anyone who didn't have to sweat and starve to get them. Which pretty much only leaves me.

As to answer your question, I have no idea what you could do. I think you can buy some sort of clear coverup stuff for lacqor and finishes and stuff, but I wouldn't exactly suggest that, because Martin has quite different finishes it seems. Maybe you could contact a Martin dealer and ask, or maybe someone will have a better suggestion.
