anyone reccommend any flangers that sound good with bass? i tried a bf-2 and it sounded really good. any others i should try out?
If I remember right the frequencies shouldn't have a huge effect on a flanger so you might just want to try some of the better guitar flangers, FL-9, Electric Mistress, etc. I really don't have all that much experience with flangers though.

bf-3 is sooooooooo much better than the bf-2. It has this cool gate/pan mode that I really like, I would suggest that. It has a bass guitar input.

what is actually different about the 2 inputs? i saw a boss bass flanger, and the controls were exactly the same as a regular flanger pedal. im a little bit skeptical...

Its a great flange sound. Haven't tried it with bass though....
I wouldn't recommend the FL9 on bass. I think I tried it once and didn't like it much.
Maybe mine is weird though.

any thoughts on dod flangers?
Boss actually made a BF-2B a while back, you might keep an eye out for that one. Most bassists use Boss flangers, I think.

I have a boss Bf-3 and i'm in love with it! I got it for christams and havnt put it down since. I don't play bass but on guitar its really great. It has any flanger effect i've ever heasrd beforee and more on it. I definatally think you shoudl try one.
