new tom morello strat

what about that guitar? does anyone know something about it?!?

I mean the black strat, with "soul power" (?) written on the body. from the images I saw I can tell it has a damn floyd, a mini humbucker (hotrail, not a jb jr.) in the bridge and 2 single coils. it also has a "strange" switch on the lower cut of strat, similar to the pointed blue one he used during RATM years...

I also saw a photo of him during the audioslave tour, with a les paul!!!

does anyone know what built-in effects has the red/black ibanez?

As for the toggle switch, I want to say he just likes his pick up selector right there (so he can do his thang).

as far as built in effects, morello doesn't have any in his guitars that i know, if you mean the red and black hollowbody he plays i think he got that at a canadien pawnshop dirt cheap and just runs it through his normal setup, there was also an article in guitar world a couple months ago where he talked about his strat, it's not a floyd on there, it's a cheaper ripoff cause he says that he can make crazier sounds with inferior equipment sometimes

I heard him say in an interview that the red and black one he was testing for ibanez. Cause it wasnt finished yet it gets a weird shreik when the pick up selector is in a certain place due to an internal pick up. He liked it so he never got it fixed.

The red and black is a different custom ibanez.

I know that the black Strat he has was a limited run edition at Guitar Center. Black with white binding and a silver pickguard I think it was. Very cool.

The red and black hollowbody is loaded up with on-board effects, as used on guerilla radio - the one from the canadian pawnshop is a different guitar.

I saw that les paul photo!! Glad to see the mans seen sense at last ;)

i dont have anything new to add. but i wanted to say that RATM rules. and audioslave isnt quite as good.
