Changing Pickups

When shopping for new pickups, is there some compatability issues (besides size)?

Like, could I put a Seymore Duncan in the neck and a Lace Sensor in the bridge?

you mean with single coils? the sizes should be fairly the same. now you have to be careful the phase relationships (if both are going to on at the same time, ie. 2nd&4th strat pos.) I couldn't tell you which wires are hot and ground since they is no industry standard. also the outputs may differ and not equal out, but you but adjust the heights and such...

Great, because I own a PRS Santana SE. Ive listened to the Seymore Duncan Jazz pickups, and want to install the neck pickup in neck position, and I want to get the humbucking Lace Sensor Dually Sensors installed in the bridge position. Thanks.
