Yes, I said master writer, not the other kind of master. I hear its an
unbelievable program for writing songs on the computer. Anybody have
any experience with it? The 300 price tag seems a bit steep to me . . . .
A composer friend of mine swears by Sibelius.
But I'm not a composer so i couldn't tell you why he likes Sibelius so much.

Hmmm, never heard of Sibilius. . . I know masterwriter isn't actually for composing. They give you something like 250 midi loop drum patterns, and state of the art rhyming dictionaries, so basically you just put down your
lyrics and melodies. It seems like a easy to use tool for when your in the zone creating (lyrics and melodies at least), and you don't want to have your creativity interrupted by technical recording problems and such. I'll check out the program you mentioned though, thanks
