what kindd of acoustics do you all have?
i have a 2000-ish Fender DG-6.
it shall be replaced with a Maton acoustic when i've got a new electric and a new amp and some pedals.

Alvarez copy of a Martin - very similar to the one pictured on the cover of the Johnny Cash tribute Kindred Spirits. http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00006GF1O.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

It's made in Japan and over twenty years old now and just keeps getting better with age. The only real changes I have made were to add a bone saddle and nut. Great guitar.

I love it :)

A cheap AXL one, which was amazing until I dropped it against the side of my bed, which is metal. Now lots of the frets have huge dents in them and notes don't sound properly.

Still, I'd buy another. :)

Also great for vocals (for one show our drummer w/ the PA dropped out on us, and I had to use both channels for vocals--pulled off with flying colors)

Sorry for posting this in the Unplugged section :)

I got an Epiphone AJ-45, basically a Gibson J-45 copy. Pretty good-sounding guitar, actually, but it seems like many of the Epiphone acoustics are. Maybe someday I'll get an actual J-45, though truth be told I'm pretty content with the Epiphone.

I have a takamine EN-20 electro-acoustic, a Guild (not sure what model... don't play it much as its permanently tuned to open G, but its £1500+), and sort of a Martin (I get to play it but my dad owns it.... for now... mwuh ha ha!). Plus an old aria, a 12 string, a classical, and some other odds and ends.

I have a Red Westfield SR 383 which sounds really great acousticly, it's great for finger picking on too. Only problem is the Preamp is a little trebbly but that's not too bad a problem.

And an Ibanez 12 String which is loud and has a lot of Sustain. It can't stay in tune very well but it was cheap and fun to play on when I get bored of 6 strings

Fender DG10? maybe....it's the best guitar ever...never mind the "classy" non-solid top, it sounds just like a $2000 hummingbird! seriously though, i do like the fretboard

I would love to have a Mark I with a moseley trem and a sunburst! I love these guitars. But they're so damn rare. And sellers like to pretend they're the Ventures Model so that they can jack up the price.

I have a Takamine EF-341C and a cheap Yamaha classical. However, I am getting my dream guitar in a couple of days. It is the 2002 Taylor 814ce limited edition. It has a spruce top with stunning cocobola back and sides. It also has curly koa binding, which looks infinitely better than the plastic binding.

got a 1980 epiphone pr-650n ... when gibson bought epiphone (1979 or abouts) they started making them in korea ... this was a new model (very similar to the better known 350) ... they made it for about 5 years and then stopped for some reason ... i don't know why except maybe it was too similar to the 350 and they didn't get the sales they wanted to on it .... i got it as my first 'good' acoustic (i'd played fingerbleeders for a couple of years by then) and i wanted something similar to what neil young played ... of course a martin was out of sight so this one had a great tone, etc so that's why i got it ... i love it :)

FYI, Gibson bought Epiphone in the 1950's. Prior to that, Epiphone made some very fine archtop guitars. After Gibson bought Epiphone, they turned it into their lower-priced brand (the 50's and 60's Epiphones were made in Kalamazoo alongside Gibsons!). In the 70's, Gibson moved Epiphone first to Japan, then to Korea. I think most Epiphones (with the exception of the Japanese-made Elitist Series) are made in the Samick factory in Korea.

I've seen a few guys with 1960's Epiphones: sweet guitars.

I have a Yamaha FG413S-12, 12 string dreadnought. An Ensenada 6 string acoustic (it belonged to my moms in-law) a Montana Classical guitar, and an Ibanez Classical (my mom bought in a yardsale for $5.50, .50 for the case).

I'm on the search for my Grandfather's Martin that he bought during WWII. After he died my Grandmother was nice enough to sell it off and not tell anyone...good times.

It's not "mine", my mom's acoustic I started on, thought I play it far more than she does nowadays.

It's a nylon strung classical guitar. It says "Di Giorgio" on the sticker inside, and has "(something) Di Giorgio" burnt into the back of the headstock. The sticker says it was made in 1975 and something about "AMAZONIA N 30".

The headstock was broken and repaired and it's cracked again in another place which makes it go out of tune quickly. But I prefer it downtuned slightly like that..it's a nice difference from my electric. I love how it sounds tho...

I also have a Takamine G240, Dean Exotica RSE, and a Washburn that I can't recall the model number, but it's got an XLR and a 1/4 inch input jack. I keep it tuned to low C...cool guitar actually. I tend to go for the Elixir strings on my acoustics for some reason. They really do last longer and sound great to my ears, especially through the P.A. system.
