There is a Peavy cab at my local guitar center that is a 2X18 2X10
all in one... It is massive and was only 400 something dollars used.

peavey cabinets are usually super cheap used, and they are quality cabinets. back before i had my ampeg rig, i used a peavey that had 2x10s and an 18, it sounded great and i paid 150 for it. i think the speakers in them are black widows. those speakers hold up well too, ive blown my share of used cabinets, and the peavey held up fine.

I would buy that thing If it would fit in my dorm room... or my car.
you could probably get a 2x10 and a 1x15

That's the ticket!!!
Don't overdo it. This is a comfortable middle ground.
A 8x10 Ampeg cab isn't super practical for most people.

That's a really good combination of sounds without needing to spend too much money or rent Ryder trucks to cary your gear around.

if you can only use one...get a cab that has a 2x10 + 1x15 setup in a single cab...make sure you get one that is the proper ohm value for your amp as well.
bass cabs are becoming quite common with those types of setups...guitars are getting better with them as well.
what's wrong with an ampeg 8x10?...I lugged that big ****er around once a week for 3 months straight last year...and will be doing it again in a few months.
