There were some really impressive moments in there, but the guy kept breaking his groove. He'd have this really funky riff going on with all the slapping and a tapping, then he'd suddenly do some double speed licks and go out of time. And that part where he did the build up, with the semitone ascending chords, there was no need for it.

The last thirty seconds were the best, because he was playing to his strengths and had a real groove.
