Quality Cables

Do good Quality cables really make a big difference in your sound? Is there a big difference between the Monster Cable Performer 500 and Standard 100? Should I use the expensive cables for everything, or just from guitar to board or amp?

I don't know about the different Monster cables individually, but I know this...changing from crap bargain cables to Monsters brought out a little bit more "life" in my tone.

Changing to George L's (which was a lot cheaper) brought my tone to life. I use George L's to connect my stomber boxes, but Monster cables to connect my Guitar to board/board to amp.

If someone invented an indestructible guitar lead they'd make a mint... mine always seem to get knackered...probably 'excursions' into the crowd don't help though...

If you are gonna go giggin' a lot then you should get some high quality cables, but if you are like me and play for 20 or 25 people on Tues. and Wed. nights for your church, then don't worry about the cables...
