Ok so I have 3 amps my main bass amp an Ampeg ba-115 a kustom practice bass amp and a kustom 30 watt guitar amp. I would like to hook all of them up so I can use the 30 watt to cover the mid range and the practice amp to cover a mid-low range. I thought about getting an a/b/y box and a y-cable. Using the y-cables hook up the 2 kustoms and then hooking them into the a/b/y and then another cable to hook up the ampeg.
Would that work?
Is there a better way to do it?

you could get a custom splitter from loooper....they make a/b/c boxes.
ask them to make one that can split 1 guitar to 3 amps.
and that is a pretty good idea...i take it you would be eq'ing all the amps to use 1 for just the bass another for just mids and the third for the highs.
sounds like fun good luck...if you have an a/b/y then the y cable idea would be just as good as a custom splitter box but might have a little tiny bit of signal loss...so i would use the y cable to split to the amps using only mids and highs as you are playing bass and want that to shine through.

Yea that is what I was going to do. I think I could deal with a little signal loss untill I could get something from loooper.

If you want to send only the mids-highs to the guitar amp, etc. Then you don't want a splitter you want an Active Crossover, this allows you to split the signal from the guitar sending only certain frequency ranges to the different amps.
