the rig that the site has for Tom delonge is quite outdated. ive seen many times that he has a much larger and more complex rig now. IF anyone has any input please respond! NO BLINK BASHING!!!
why could you possibly need/want it updated, he doesn't use any pedals, just a ton of amps, and i'm sorry but why would you even care about his rig, there's nothing good or special about him

I've been guilty sometimes of ripping into bands here too, but he was pretty sincere in his request.
i could've been a lot more cruel there, he obviously knew it was coming

As far as I know Delonge still uses his Mesa/Marshall setup for live stuff. INstead of his Strats, though, he is now using Gibson 335s.
it did get a bit more complicated
has at least 2 preamps now I believe
one of them being a mesa triaxis
can't remember the other one though
still uses triple rectifiers live though

He used Gibson 335's on his tour with BOXCAR RACER. I saw him personally using them. im still looking for a site with his picture using them. i have a few on my computer but i cant link them.

I also saw pics of him in the studio with Blink walking around with the 335. I wonder if his Fender endorsement is up?

if i was fender, his endorsement wouldve been up a long time ago... wait no. i see alot a kids with his guitar, maybe he should stay on... they probably making alot of money off his ass

alright...yea..his rig is out of date...i am not sure if he even uses the jcm 900 anymore. ok they might have some of it right..but i am just going to list it all. He has three mesa 4x12 cabs, and 3 mesa 2x12 cabs. He powers some of those with a mesa triple rectifier. And he uses the marshall jmp-1 preamp, and the mesa triaxes preamp....and thats all i know of the matter....

I doubt it, once you put an invader in (I'm sure he did/will) it sucks once more. The sig strat wouldn't be so bad if it had a better pickup.

his signature strat isn't too bad. if i was designing a custom fender, i wouldn't have done much different. except it would be a duncan JB and it would have a tone knob. and a smaller headstock

his big headstock is just his personal preference, i also think a smaller heardstock would be cooler

i have 2 small headstock strats one with a duncan full shred and a volume (thats it) and another with an emg-hz ... one volume both are 500k pots... and yea

oh my god. some of the people that have posted replies on here are so stupid. what tom uses has been documented and he doesnt change anything, the the only variation was on the "take your pants of and jacket" record he used some dumble amps and he tried a H&K but he never recorded that. what he uses is
Fender signiture strats
JCM 900
2x Double or Triple Rectos (some venues are bigger then others)
JMP-1 preamp (for tone)
mesa Preamps (for the gain)
3 mesa 2x12
3 mesa 4x12
if people would read stuff instead of thinking they know everything then gossip would never occur.

I hate to be a poopoff, but I'm just thinking: it's entirely possible he's only using the 335 for Boxcar Racer (due to the higher amount of clean guitar sounds needed) and still has his Strats for blink-182. I mean, I could be wrong. Last time I read about Box Car Racer, he said he was still using his Strats, so what do I know?

how does he route it all?
i know when he was using the 900/recto setup, he just had a whirlwind a/b box, but that's a significantly larger rig. midi switching perhaps?
