Greg Camp- from Smashmouth right? Guitarist Greg Camp's gear lineup features three guitars: a Fender Jaguar reissue, a Fender Jazzmaster, and a Guild DCE-3 acoustic. He has two amps: a Fender Dual Showman head with a 2 5 12 Tonemaster cabinet and a Marshall JCM900 head with a 4 5 12 Marshall cabinet. His effects collection includes a Boss Hyper Fuzz, a Boss Chorus, a Dunlop wah pedal, a Dunlop Rotovibe, a Tech-21 Sans-Amp GT-2, and a Z-Vex Fuzz Factory (the effect he uses on "Walkin' on the Sun").


Paul McCartney uses mainly his Hofner violin bass or a Gibson J-45

yah, and on tour i've seen him use a Les Paul a lot. and i believe he runs everything through VOX amps.

But, what are the Mesa-Boogie Amps on stage.
I found that Paul McCartney has a rack made by Pete Cornish.

Richie Sambora uses mostly old Gibson Flying V's now, through a bunch of effects (what, though, I couldn't tell you) into a wall of Marshall JCM 800s.

I found out that the vox's are for paul's guitar and the mesa boogie's are for his bass. Rusty Anderson uses Divided by 13 Amps with a huge rack of effects (What are they?) and Brian Ray uses Electroplex Rocket 50 amps for the guitar and for the bass he uses ashdown amps and some pedalboard with a Line 6 Delay Modeler. I can't make out any of the other effects I'll have to zoom in on the DVD.

the bass into mesa, guitars into vox stuff. he must have some effects since his rig is made by peter cornish, who's he?!? a rig guru. the english equivalent of bob bradshow of CAE fame. he did the 2 last david gilmour rigs: 'nuff said. anyway, I'm going to see sir mccartney in rome next sunday (the free concert, not the one into the colosseo!!!) with my mother!!!! that's so cool, isn't it?!?

he's endorsing hughes & kettner right now (triamp and zentera). check the "misunderstood" video: those blue amps are H&K stuff.
