Jerry Cantrell/Alice In Chains

Anyone know exactly what he uses for a rig Jar of Flies or SAP? His tone is amazing on the overdubs for those albums... I know he uses Bogners and 5150's, but not on everything. There are reports of Marshall useage and many other amps, while guitars are usually Les Pauls and many G&L guitars. What kind of effects does he use?

When I saw his band "Jerry Cantrell" I did notice that mr. cantrell uses marshall now it has been about 3 months ago so i dont remember everything but i do remember sein marshall cabinets on his stage

I know that he uses/d Bogner Fish Preamps

Also, to get an idea of what he used on the s/t album, he used just a regular Les Paul straight into a Marshall (I dont know what kind) for Sludge Factory

I'm not sure, but I think he used an original Rat during Dirt, so maybe on the two attempts you mentioned he used one of them.

I know he's mentioned renting an old Les Paul, and Strat for the early albums, before buying them around Tripod era. He also recently said he loves the new Bogner Shiva amp heads, and planned to use them live. I haven't gotten to see him live yet, so I don't know if his plans changed. He also said he was mainly using the cigarette burned LES PAUL CUSTOM a lot.
