OOER!

The Mark Tremonti PRS is a very, very nice guitar.

No matter what anyone says, I love his tone. I think GuitarGeek had his rig up a while ago, but now I can't find it.

Did it get taken down for any reason, or am I dreaming?

I think that I smell BS cause youre trying to tell me that you are 16 and have over 1000 dollars worth of pedals, a Mesa Head and Cab, guitars totalling over 6000 dollars and shure wireless system. Gimme a friggin break buddy. Youre looking at over
10 000 dollars man. I live in Canada so that would be 5 times more ;) Still if you do have that stuff I wouldnt mind seeing a picture of it.

Too be hoenst I had a way better pedal set-up at that age man, and have a look at my current rig, I can take a photo of it if you want to see it. I believe him.....I remember spending all my cash on pedals then. And Gear in general.

My first electric was a American Strat, with a Traynor 30 watt combo, a Ibanez DLL10, A Boss CE-1 Chorus (the yellow monster) a Heavy Metal distortion, and a DOD overdrive. Within a Few month I had added 15 more pedals to my collection through working and pretty much only spending money on gear, and things like Pawn Shops, junk stores, used gear, and buying them off junkies looking to score more heroin (you have no idea how much stuff I got that way, like 10 pedals, and I never paid more the $20 for anything). I stuck with the amp and guitar, though, I did own a super reverb for a bit, it stunk compared to the Traynor.

And I live in Canada.

Now, I wish I still had some of that gear, Like My DOD FX94 (Which I stupidly sold when I got my Line 6, I miss the pitchshift cheap little sampler I learned about looping on), and some of the vintage stuff I got cheap and traded for other gear (which, I admit, I still use and love, and GET more use out of) like my Foxx Fuzz/Oct/Volume/Wah, Double Beat and some vintage E-H pedals, DOD, and MXR boxes.

Sadly though, I miss the FX94 the most still.

think about it, you're 16 and if you have a job [chances are you're not paying rent.] what are you gonna spend your money on? a car? perhaps. how about gear? [i personally preferred the latter to transportation. but then again, i was also given a junker to get to work with.] he's lucky he knows what sounds good to him at 16. i spent at least 2 grand on **** i ended up hating (like marshall valvestate stacks. ibanez rg570s. boss metal zones) i've since seen the light and gotten things that actually sound good to my ears.

im eighteen, and i have a job pay six bucks an hour, and i work about 30 hours a week, i bring in about $280 every two weeks. Fist my parents pay for my car (whcih is payed off) and for my insurance, so i only pay for gas. I save no money, althought I do have a seriouse girlfriend. But still I only have about 2000 in gear, and all my extra cash goes towards gear. I have been in this financial situation for two years. So unless he has absolutley no social life at all, he is bsing us.

It's BS or daddy, one or the other. I promise you, It's impossible for any 16 year old to earn $10,000+ in gear moneys.

Great rig.
Like Greyskull asked, which Boss delay do you have?

Also, do you have the PRS Mark Tremonti Signature, or the new PRS SE series Tremonti (which says "Tremonti" on the headstock). I'm not a big fan of his work, but the Tremonti Signature is a beautiful guitar that plays better than a few Les Pauls I've tried. I've been looking for the SE since I can't cough up the money on the Sig.

How do you like the Daddy-O as an overdrive? I'm in the market for one. (If I was you I would just use the dirty on the Boogie; amazing!)

P.S. - Don't sweat the haters; if you have the means to get what you want, without consequence, do it up.

I ain't flaming man, It's just a weee bit farfetched sounding that any 16 year old could afford a $2000 guitar on his own, much less a $4000.

Leave the guy alone. I had a PRS CE-24 when I was 16. Same thing, Dad and I split the cost. After financing, $2300 was the cost. More than his PRS. Also, I don't see $10,000 worth of gear in his setup. Used DC-10 is only $900. add the cab: $800. pedals ($1000 new). I see more like $4700 worth of gear. By the way, we have the means to make this BBS a place to find information w/o all of the crap that you have to deal with on other boards. I say we try to keep it civil and have an open mind.
