Ok so what's some of the stuff you have written on your guitar ala Tom Morello's "Arm the Homeless"

me, i don't have the nerve to deface the value of any of my guitars just yet but if I were to write something it would probably be uhh, i don't know, maybe..."F uck you"??!

can you all see i am bored. I have a desk job here folks.

To me guitars are not sacred objects. THEY NEED TO BE DEFACED.

This my strat which saw an afternoon with me and my band and some permanent markers. I hated the oyster white finish (looked almost pink in some lights) so it needed a makeover.

Does this (http://home.cogeco.ca/~screamingdaisy/New_Folder/Mar26_02%2013.jpg) count as defacing? I have a few more things planned for it, but nothing that includes writing.

I really like that man. I love the fact that you haven't changed the scratch plate so you can still see the single coil routings. The scratched finish is cool also.

Whats other plans have you got.

Is that fabric? If so, I thought about doing that once.

My favorite is "This Machine Kills Fascists"

My strat has flowers drawn all over the pick guard. I think I'm going to paint it pink one of these days. I used make collages on that guitar by cutting out pictures and just taping them to the body. Its also got a sticker on it that says "DO NOT ROCK," which I got off of a vending machine.

my guitar has a star on it that I cut out of aluminum and bolted on. Its about 5" long and its right above the bridge

I wrote "bastard-caster" on my telecaster in black sharpie but it was in the path of my arm and since has worn off

ive got 2 guitars with scrawlings on em'. i got no pictures yet though which sucks.
the first one is my ibanez sc420 with the words
"Chinga La Policia"(ala arm the homeless). its not really scrawled into the guitar though. i bought a sheet of this shiney holograph sticker paper(yknow the same paper that those 50 cent stickers placed in the cardboard are printed on). i just cut out the letters and stuck em on the guitar.

the second is my ibanez iceman with the classic "this machine kills facist"(woody guthrie) in white letters scrawled into the body and then overcoated with white-out. then there is a sticker between the pickups with marshall applewhite(heavens gate cult leader) with the caption "all aboard" and various stickers of Black civil rights leader angela davis.

My guitar used to have stickers on it.

Near the input jack and under the controls was the word "UNPLUG". Then above the pickups was "END CIVILIZATION".

But since I moved all the stickers onto the back of the guitar.

I spray painted the word "END" behind the bridge, it was too shiny so i rubbed it up with sandpaper to make it look worn. I like it, though I might remove it and respray something else there.

Soloist - used to have an anarchist sticker 'Use your cross wisely - Crucify a politician'. Now removed due to selling.

Dinky - 'Satellite' sticker on headstock. Now removed as above.

Fusion - Variety of stickers on front/back/edges (anarchist/skate/bike/Coop/London bands) plus 'FEAR DRUGS SEX SATAN' (the S fell off so it says ATAN!) in red adhesive letters on body, 'YOUR MUM' on back of neck with marker.

(Above are here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v305/KcufTafYriah/rig/gits.jpg )

Acoustic - 'Make Trouble' on scratchplate, Nile logo sticker under rear strap button!
