i have my setup pretty much done. but and i like my tone but i was wondering if anyone had some advice for my arrangement of pedals in my signal path....heres my setup....
I have from guitar--> wah then to the amp. then in my fx loop i have a boss phaser--boss digi reverb delay--boss flanger---boss auto wah--then boss tremolo---boss comp/sustain---then that runs to my fender tuner--then my boss noise suppressor. now, im looking to better my signal if at all possible. im looking into maybe getting a ring modulator too...so i have to make room for that when it comes too and prolly the mxr 90 phaser too so i have to take into consideration that. thanks everyone for your time. oh yeah i have a dod eq in the mix too...any advice where that can go...i was thinking after the comp. or after my wah..also, i was thinking of putting a blues driver or overdrive or fuzz before my wah. thanks for the advice

My suggstions:

To the amp-
Put the tuner first in your signal chain to the amp.
Follow it with the Comp/Sust.
Then the overdrive (I like having overdrive before the wah, but it a matter of personal taste) into the wah.

For the FX loop-
Auto wah
Flange
Tremolo
Delay/Reverb
Noisesuppressor

well...i'll take your advice and try it out. what about my phaser though? that has to be in there somewhere? and the eq where should those go? I think im going to take my tuner out of my fx loop thats a start cuz theres no need for it to be in there. but i'll try out your setup for the fx loop. to see if theres a change.

Sorry about that....
EQ's can and SHOULD go either 1st in the chain (after your tuner, of course, to EQ the input signal) or LAST (to EQ the overall sound of everything).

The Phaser should go in the FX loop between the Auto wah and the Delat/Reverb.

Have fun

thanks for the advice...
its just a pain in the butt taking off all my pedals on my homemade board and rearranging them into different paths. ive found that when i do that...the flanger is more predominant than what it was before...is there a common consensus that stuff that is in the front of a chain is going to be more predominant? as far as modulation?

i also noted that when placing the tremolo before the reverb the tremolo gets washed out somehow. then when i put the tremolo at the end...then it was more noticable and you could notice every effect in the tremolo paths.
