tremelo conversion

I have a jackson KV3 that has a floyd rose and it drives me fricking nuts I asked my local tech if I could replace it with a flat mount like a kahler flyer and he said yeah I think he's full of ****, I asked the guitar world tech on their website and he says it won't look pretty bu it will work and I don't know so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on the matter.:confused:

perhaps a new guitar......

installing a non floyd rose style on a floyd rose guitar is a HUGE ****in headache.

also, i bet money that your floyd rose is a "liscensed by" floyd rose, which is made by whatever company (jackson, Bc rich, Fender) to put on their guitars. their like the ****in squiers of floyd roses. id reccomend putting a real, genuine floyd in it, their 69 times more stable and are a lot more solid feeling.
