speed techniques

i was wondering wat u all use to get your speed/co-cordination up. i am having trouble with fast hammer-on,pull-offs and was wdonering if anyone has any tips? thanks

theres this great excercise I use where you lay all fingers down upon each fret, so for example 1st finger first fret, second finger second fret etc... and what you do is do alternate picking really fast and do pull offs or hammer ons: each finger at a time with the next finger finger as the note you aull off or hammer on. Go through all the fingers and try different places on the fretboard.
