Electro Harmonix Big Muff

Having read the suggestions in my last thread about bass fuzz (thanks for all your assistance), I bought a Electro harmonix Big Muff (Russian), I was wondering if any of you could give me some tips on how to set it up and some advice on the settings?

with the amp loud, my settings are as follows:
all three knobs at about 1 o'clock. maybe a little more. with a big ampeg it sounds like the end of the world!

I cant get my big muff to growl like the pumpkins at all. Any ideas / suggestions guys? :confused:

what kind of amp are you use it on?
- tubes, go full on volume, use it as a overdrive, with a tone on 12 o'clock and little sustain, it will blow your mind!!!!
- transistor, everything on 9 o'clock
