another search related suggestion...
perhaps we can search for multiple pieces of equipment at once? i think this might be helpful as the guitargreek rig database grows and grows.
ex. i want to search for who uses a TR-2 and a Guv'nor in their rig. or who uses a VOX valve tone with a MXR Phase 90.
what does everyone think?

I think they may say, "We have our hands full at the moment with all of gururyan's damn suggestions, so for now just search for the Vox valvetone and then see if any of those people use a vintage MXR Phase 90 as well."
hopefully it's not too difficult, 'cause i think it's a neat idea. a couple spaces to type in like "MXR Phase" and "Boss RV-3" and then the program can search for those instances happening together in a particular rig.
hehe. well, at least we're making suggestions! better than nothing. ;)

open two windows and search for a different product in each?
It would actually be pretty easy to do. Pretty much any internet search engine does it (Yahoo, Google, etc.). All it has to do is do the two searches individually and then cross reference the results. I had an assignment in a computer class last semester that involved doing stuff like that. There's really not alot to it.

Thinking back to Computing at school the searches would take a little longer to run but it would just be a pretty basic bit of Artificial Intelligence used to carry the search out.

We'll add an advanced search to our ever-expanding todo list! Thanks for the suggestion.
