We should have a classifieds section! We could trade and sell gear, and musicians looking for other musicians could make announcements.

Well, in the meantime, I have these two pedals I want to sell (need to finance a new acquisition)! I don't want to use eBay (I don't have and I don’t want a credit card). And I don't want to just post this in the board, it would be impolite! Maybe we could just start a temporary classifieds section in the stompboxes section?

well, people already tend to post their own "FOR SALE:______" threads in the appropriate section (stompboxes, etc.) so feel free to do that.

and i'm sure we'll all have a proper place to post once... "Gear Trader" or whatever comes around!

im curious though... doesn't trade classify something that can be taxed? what about selling through guitargeek. the IRS wants a peice of every bit of you they can get... are there some licenses that you need to attain in order to even mention that this forum is used for contact for trading?
