I'm new here... ::o

I rock a Warwick Pro Fet IV 400 watt head with a Warwick W-115 cab I bought from a friend. Problem is, the head clips a lot due to my bass' crappy pickup alignment (long story), and the fact that I'm only running it through a 115. I'm trying to look for a cheap 410 cab to go along with it, the cheapest I've seen so far would be an Avatar. Any suggestions?

The avatar cabs look like a steal, it's a shame we haven't got a company like that here in Australia.

Another suggestion is an ampeg 410. I'm sure theres quite a few used ones floating around, and they sound pretty good.

Hey chuck;)

I'd say go with avatar... I had a 410 I bought from them... and it sounded great, with bass AND guitar.

If you can find a used ampeg 4x10 I'd defineatly suggest that, by far the best cabs I've tried so far in my search for a new cab. You'd defineatly want to look for used ones though as the new ones are quite expensive.

I just remembered.. the amp uses mic cables.. This would be a problem with an Avatar 410, I'm presuming?

I'm sure if you asked for a xlr input on your cabinet it wouldn't be a drama.

I recommend Peavey 410 TVX cabinets! I own two of them. They are very affordable and sound great IMO. They're available in 4 and 8 Ohm versions.

I'm sure you can find cable adapters for your connection troubles.
