 After 15 years making do, I have just splashed out on my dream effects! 1 Big Muff, 1 Q-Tron+ and Roger Mayer's fabulous Voodoo Vibe. But how do I connect them all up to get the sounds in the right order? I've heard some say put the distortion first straight into the amp and then use the send and return plugs on the amp (Hughes & Kettner tube by the way) for the modulator effects, but then where do I put the Q-Tron+? - Or do I plug the Muff into the fx loop on the Q-Tron+, or should I put the Vibe in there? I've looked at some of the rigs on the site (Trower, Clapton, Hendrix etc - close-ish to the sound I'm going for, but my favourite sound is Eddie Hazel on Funkadelic's Maggot Brain) but to be honest it's not much clearer - maybe I should have stuck with the Zoom 606 unit, and saved my self a headache but the tone on my new effects is so vastly superior! I know I could just play around but it would be helpfull if any fellow geeks got any 'sound' advice?

basically, just keep messing around with the order, and see what sound you like the best. but i've heard that the big muff needs to be at the front of everything for it to sound ok.

I have been fiddling - basically both the Q_tron and the Muff say they have to be first! Muff before Q-Tron really muffles the filter, EH suggest putting the Muff in the Q-Tron's FX loopand this sounds okay - obviously when you stomp off the Q-Tron, the muff disappears as well so that's not really an option - I'm still playing about - Muff before everything is my motto.
