To Swag or Not To Swag

In light of some of the recent remarks about Member's Only and London Fog jackets for high-posting members, we'd like to find out what Geek swag you'd really be interested in.

I think that merchandise/swag is a fantastic idea, allow us to show our support for the site, for the guitargeek community and also to carry some free advertising as well!!

My choice is for a T shirt, which we could also have our user names on the back of?? I agree with the logo idea though, designed by geeks for geeks!! Keeping everyone happy would be hard but thats what the voting system is for..!!

A quick plea to guitargeek/the hall monitor/the powers that be though, can thought be given to those of us over this side of the pond (UK/Europe etc) so that we can all be able to obtain the swag, and not limit it to the USA? I for one would be happy to pay the costs for shipping, although if we all banded together over here we could probably ship a box load over much cheaper and have someone distribute them this side (did that sound like I was volunteering?!!).

We're definitely game to distribute world-wide. This is by no means a USA-only endeavor. Once we enter the design polling/production phase, we'll work out the international distribution costs and discuss it here.

wooo! a tshirt would be awesome.. i hope it'll be high quality though, i dont want a shirt you can see through.. or a really dorky design.. and i would vote for a black tshirt, since black tshirts are the best..

The shirts will be high-quality and we will be hosting polls on both design and color. You will all have a say in the process.

Guitargeek will be contributing some designs and I expect Gururyan and a few others, too. This will be fun.

the username on the back thing is a great idea! We should get black t-shirts with an awesome logo! great graphic logo with quality printing :D this thing makes me happy

I don't think we should get black t-shirts, most of my band t-shirts are black and I need some different colors, I think a blue color like the backround to the guitar geek site would be awesome and true to the site.

I like the Idea for the T-shirt design. It should be simple and timeless so that all of us can wear it no matter what kind of clubs we play at or what kind of music we play.

I think GuitarGeek wristbands would be cool too, I always wear one when I play.Just a white wrisband with GEEK written on it in plain black lettering would be amazing, I'd buy 5.
