UK geeks: Busted have split up.

Anyone else hear the news of busted splitting up?

Aparrently the one with the huge eyebrows was a d*ck and both the one that looks like a monkey, and the dude who looks like a butch woman didn't like it.

Ah well....Im gutted...another tragedy of the british music industry..:( ;) :D

It's such a shame. Apparently caterpillar face is leaving for some sort of rock band? Firestar? Either he's been very clever using Busted to gain fame for this other band, or he's been very lucky ad had some good management/PR.

Scary thing is, I was watching some kid's show this morning and there was another McBusted style band called 'The Noise Next Door' or summit.

They all have red hair.

Nuff said.

Wow, they suck.

I know everyone is going to say "Yeah of course, what did you expect of a busted side project." But I've always had a grudging respect for pop songwriters (its not easy) and I really expected better.

Im just glad theyve gone!!!! waste of decent guitars, waste of record industry funding, TOTP saturday are ****ing themselves looking for ideas of how to get ratings without having busted on evry week, and we wont have to hear that friggin thunderbirds song again!!!

I was dissapointed to find out Charlie wasn't joining Fivestar :(

I, for one, am sad that they are gone. They may have been bad but they were far better than *****star.

They will reform in a few years anyway, when eyebrows realises that he can't pay the rent, although I have heard that *****star are signing a 1 million pound deal with Sanctuary.

I had no idea that there was a member of Busted in Fightstar. I bought Grand Unification after listening to it in a sample booth a couple of months back. I thought Grand Unification was great, and don't think much of the current post-hardcore bands. Plus the album sounds monstrous. Does anybody know what guitars/amps they use at all?
