There ought to be a Miscellaneous forum. For posting whatever we feel like talking about that isn't entirely guitar-related.

and yes, it would be nice to just have a forum where you don't necessarily need to talk about guitars but can talk to guitar players

hello,

there are other venues on the internet for chatting about things beside gear and guitars. i rarely have to moderate on this site because everyone respects each other and is here to check out gear or to kill time between playing! if we opened things up to politics, religion, sex or whatever the geekchat would turn ugly real quick. I don't know about you but this place is a nice relief from all the nonsense going on in the world right now and i'd like to keep it that way.

I understand. That's why I usually avoid forums anyhow.

I just had a burning desire to share my observation on how drummers are usually short people. ;)
