NIN is better in general, but the Foo's new album seems to be better than NIN's new album, so in a way it's kind of an upgrade.

Calling one band "better" then another is stupid and we all know it.

On the flipside, everyone loses, too.

I'm down with that.

But, I'd rather hear the NIN single at the moment than the Foo Fighters.

Sorry, I forgot the :D at the end of my above statement.

i actually enjoy albums by both of those bands, but sadly, those days appear to be gone.

and on the singles debate, i'd rather hear the sound of my fan oscillating then either.

You disregard conventional norms in most scenarios, and people think you're cool and unique for it.

But God Forbid that you misspell a word... That's just flagrantly anti-social behavior. ;)

hmm. I gotta defend the Foo's. I love them. But then again, I'm not so psyched on the new album. So I kinda agree with you. But kind of not.

Hrm.

Well, at least you had a valid reason for bumping up a thread that no longer has any relevance. Right?

I know.... I realized that like 2 seconds after I pressed reply. Hey, if I never make mistakes, I'll never learn from 'em eh?

I like Foo Fighters better, but they've played so many shows that I can't imagine seeing them play something interesting. They play TV shows all the time. Nothing is new.

Nine Inch Nails and the Foo Fighters were both good for about two albums, after that, they both seemed to get caught in a positive feedback loop of popularisation, and became kind of boring.

Very true. I can't really bring myself to like more than a few songs off One by One or TINLTL or any of the others.

But man, the self titled cd and Colour and The Shape were freaking awesome!
