Since I got my Rockstron Super C, Line 6 DL-4, Boss CE-3 and various cables stolen after one of my gigs, I have been considering adding rack effects to my rig. Anybody recommend any particular unit that includes a high quality variable reverb effect? I am seeking something that will be useful for really high gain, balls to the walls guitar playing like Arch Enemy, Carcass and Morbid Angel. Preferably something that will let sweeps and runs sound clear without oversaturating the sound. All suggestions are much appreciated.

Lexicon has nice stuff. For simple reverbs, the MPX100 is nice and is very cheap nowadays.
Alesis makes nice stuff too.
But if you want the real thing then consider any high end Lexicon, TC Electronics, Eventide, ect.

I've heard really great things about the TC Electronics M-One. You can get them off eBay for pretty decent deals too.
Of course, the TC Electronics G-Major/G-Force work great too.

I use the Korg DRV-1000 rack, it's really old, but sounds great on either subtle or huge verbs. I got it for $35 too.

x2 for Lexicon
I use an MPX-550. Pretty cheap on Ebay, and does so much more than the MPX-110. It's got great delays as well.
