Okay, in the past few months I've been getting into horror movies. Most specifically older zombie movies. The few I've seen or own so far are:
Night Of The Living Dead
Dawn Of The Dead
Day Of The Dead
Land Of The Dead
28 Days Later
Zombi 2
Return Of The Living Dead
Any one have any other good ones I should look into?

The beyond, which is lucio fulci's MASTERPIECE. amazing film, beutufully shot.

City of the Living Dead- Fulci again, really cool.

House by the cemetary-fulci(see a trend) his last "zombie" film beyond hte terrible zombi 3

Shattered dead - Terrible film, but worth it to watch because it could have been amazing, like really good. Great concepts.

Wild Zero, Versus, Junk, Stacy - Japanese zombie flicks. I love Wild Zero and Versus, both abstract and strange but hhillarious and wonderfully wacky. Stacy and Junk are **** but worth it for the iun-jokes....maybe.

So in order I would get them:

beyond
Versus
Wild Zero
house by the cemetary
City of the living dead
junk
stacy(**** i hate this film why am i sugggesting it)

It's really ****ty, but I like it. The bassist that I play with said the best thing about that movie: "It was a ****ty horror flick, but I don't look at it that way. I pretend it's a really long music video and then it's actually really good."

I was going to recommend Zombie, but have since learned that it's U.S. title is Zombie 2, so good on ya for catching that one before I could recommend it. :D

Dead Alive by Peter Jackson is pretty good, but definitely comical, so don't expect it to be too serious.

Damn, I really want to see Wild Zero and have been hoping to find it at Rhino records, but every time I have no luck. I'll probably end up ordering it online.

You do realise that the horror genre is so f*cking immense, that a three-day-long post wouldn't be enough to cover all the really good sh*t?
Japanese horror is, without a doubt, superior to all! Try "Onibaba". Real twisted. Oddly enough, I found myself quite at home with that one.

I stunk with only zombie flicks, which is a small small genre if you cut all the crap out of it:)

Are you kidding me??? That movie was FRIGGIN AMAZING. One of the best movies I've seen in my entire life. I went with one of my good friends to see it, we were cracking up the entire time. It was like all we talked about the entire week after. The miget getting shot in the face, the gernade, the belly button ring. All of it genius, pure pure genius. I really need to go see it again.

At the time it was my #1 movie, but i think it'll probably stay in my top 10 for life.
