I'm starting a new guitar tab/music related website and was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping. I basically need people who can verify tabs and possibly create new ones as well.
Besides that I'd also need someone who could write reviews of guitar equipment, cd's, live concerts, and write columns/editorials that are music related. Anyway if anyone is interested please reply this or send me an email at jfeyerherm@cox.net

That sounds like an awesome idea. It reminds me of Ultimate-Guitar, but that place has gone to hell. This new site you're starting could totally blow it away. I really don't have time to work on something like that, and I really don't have the skill, either. I might be able to do some album reviews, though.

Ultimate Guitar is crap in fact awful. I may be able to help. Just PM with certain songs and I will do my best.
Ill be able to help out checking tabs before they are admitted to the site, what kind of tab site will it be? A wordpad tab type site? If so, I would recomend converting to using the powertab software (its brilliant and free!) www.power-tab.net (http://www.power-tab.net)

Thanks for the feedback and here's some answers to your questions. I don't plan on having tabs in powertab format, at least initially but that could be in the future. It will be like the other sites where its a notepad kind of file. The site will be similar to other guitar sites except for each songs I or whoever is working on the site will "verify" certain tabs to be correct. So, instead of having like 5 or more tabs for certain songs, there will be one version that is guaranteed to be correct. People can still submit versions of their tabs, they just won't necessarily be verified or so on.
