I just recently saw this movie and I really liked it. Im sure most people think its strange because of the transvestite but I really liked the whole movie. The songs were good and I just never knew I missed out on something like that movie. I am thinking of going and buying the dvd now. Anyone care to discuss this little topic?:)

I saw it a few years ago at a mates "sleepover"...i was 11 or something, we ended up singing most of the songs at 3 in the morning, annoying people :)

I like the music, but the lack of a plot was a little annoying to me. The characters are very lovable though. I was really sad when Dr. Transvestite (I forgot his name...) died at the end.

Rocky is the longest playing movie in the world. It's been played at least one every other week since it was released. If you are a fan you should try to find a theatre that plays it to check out the crowd. It is great in the theatre and comes with a whole other aspect of the film, mainly crowd interaction playing along with the movie. Can be pretty crazy with local actors/actresses playing out the parts below the screen in front of the theatre, extra crowd commentary and toast throwing. Quite fun. Check it out sometime, the extra crowd dialog is hillarious.

Dr. Frank-N-Furter!

Did anyone else notice this:

There are a couple paintings that appear in the background multiple times during the movie. American Gothic, Mona Lisa, and Michelangelo's Creation all appear. Near the end of the movie, the way Riff Raff and the girl (Colombia?) stand and the shape of his gun are reminiscent of the American Gothic painting also.

Maybe I should stop watching movies while I'm stoned...?

P.S.: Let's do the Time Warp again!
