Recording Studio Recommendations

My band wants to go into the studio to record some tracks and at some point, an E.P. First of all, we need to record three songs for a film score; and after that we'll worry about the rest of the songs.

We're from the Milwaukee area. So, we're looking for a place in Milwaukee, Madison, or the Chicago area.

Any suggestions?

I really only know of Smart Studios in Madison; but, its probably really expensive.
