Does anyone out there have any recording tips on direct recording into a Fostex X-55. I've got a Morley JD10 that sounds pretty amazing for rhythm parts but I cant get that feedback drenched lead tone.

Hey there winkton, the best way to get a feedback drenched lead tone, is to mic up your amp, and have your amp running at a volume sufficient to create feedback.
Of course, this may not be practical for you! So another way to go would be to get a compressor pedal. This way you will get all the sustain you need, and more 'apparent volume'.
The JD10 is a fantastic pedal by the way, why aren't they more popular?
Hope this helps?:)
