Hello Guitargeeks!
We have officially decided to place the GuitarGeek T-Shirt Design Contest on hold for the time being. A few wonderful entries were sent in but not nearly enough to justify an official GuitarGeek contest. We blame ourselves for this! We slowly leaked the t-shirt contest idea onto the message boards without a mailer or much fanfare. The poor thing never picked up enough momentum to cause any excitement. A contest of this magnitude deserves more pimping than the Geek Staff gave it. Give us a little more time to put some real planning, and a real prize, into this and we do it up right!
That said, we still need to find a quick and easy way to cover some of our mounting server and bandwidth costs and T-shirts seem to be the best way to do this (Asking for donations or selling our feeble souls to the MAN aren't an option people!).
T-shirts work for everyone! You get the cool threads you want and we can keep the site forging ahead! If you are planning on buying a t-shirt please take the quick t-shirt size poll in the COMMENTS AND SUGGESTION section of the Geekchat! This will help us plan the final order and keep a well balanced proportion of sizes in stock.
