Where can I find an original Digitech WH-1 Whammy?

I've looked for it in many auctions, I've searched for it relentlessly on every search engine, and all I can find are the reissues. Any suggestions to where I should look?

have you tried local stores? maybe they have one on consignment? if not then ask around, the staff there might know where to look.. all this applies if you have already checked ebay

There have been a few on ebay lately, but you're gonna pay HUGE money ofr it. Expect to pay between $400 - $500 for one. If you can't afford that, you might wanna try the Whammy II. They track really nicely and the pedal sweeps are really smooth. Not as good as the WH-1, but certainly better than any of the later reissues.
