4 pin fw conundrum

hmm, not too sure where iwas ment to put this, but does anyone have issues with the small style 4 pin firewire socket? I use an m-audio ozonic into a laptop and the damn connector... ie the 4 pin fire wire comes out so easily it's unreal. When my current musical collective arre ready for playing live, this will e a massive problem. Are there any fantastic solutions to this... other than using reems of gaffer tape?
