Does anyone know of any single coil and/or humbucking pickups that they would consider ideal for recording through a Line 6 Pod or Guitar Port.
My current configuration is Bridge-HB, Middle-SC, Neck-SC.
I have an old Strat-Style Charvel that plays well but has somewhat noisy, dull factory pickups. I am confident that replacing the pickups will really help to make this guitar a good recording tool.
If possible, versatility would be my main goal due to the fact that i play everything from as heavy as Pantera to Pink Floyd.
I was told to stay away from active pickups in this situation.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
