Couple of ??'s
How much do you have to spend?
How many tracks would you like to have?
Do you have a decent computer you could use?
Let me know those couple things, and I'll have a few suggestions for you. Thanks.

get the MBox w/ protools, for around 500, and then get a SM 58... some decent cables, and you are good to go!!!
