Okay, this is really killing me. A few years back, Eric Clapton played an SNL episode. I haven't seen it in years, so I forget which song he played. I've already looked under "Clapton SNL" on Kazaa and Soulseek, but no one has anything.

All I remember was that he played it on his white Stratocaster (I think) and and that it was a heavy blues song. Someone please help me!

Just a guess:

Before You Accuse Me

I'd go thru my SNL library but I haven't burned to disc yet and I think I've forgotten how to run my VCR. It's been so long since I've used for anything other than a real wide clock

Hmm...could've been. I can't remember how it sounded, just that it was good.

Here's a couple of listing for eric that i got off of imdb.com (my OTHER favorite website)

"Saturday Night Live" playing "Musical Guest" (episode # 20.1) 24 September 1994
6. "Saturday Night Live" playing "Musical Guest" (episode # 15.16) 24 March 1990

Most likely it was that 1994 performance because that's the year he had "from the cradle" out, which was a straight up blues record.

Check it out here:

It's a good album too.

Play the blues, wir...
