- Mains Monitors - and Power Amps

Hey there guys.... I have the oppertunity to get my hands on a pair of Electro Voice Sentry 500 mains monitors. I was wondering if anyone out there has any experiance with these. They would be used as a secondary system to my Event ASP 8s (that I LOVE). I've been trying to find out anything I can on them, but so far I've found next to nothing. Is their frequency response descent? How much power can they handle? etc... any response will help, and will be very much appreciated.

Oh yeah...the second part.... Does anyone have any recomendations for power amps to use with those EVs? I've only ever used active systems, so I have no idea whats good or not....

Sorry, no experience with the EV's but as far as power amps go I'm pretty happy with my Alesis RA150 - nice clean and beefy sound with no problems. Would happily recommend them (provided of course power ratings and impedance match up with the EV's)
