Hi, i hope this is the right forum
my new mic isnt working, and im really baffled as to why. It's a shure pg57, but when I plug it into the computer the sound that gets played back is very quiet, and the background hiss is loud in comparison- I have to turn the speaker up loud to even hear it. This is my first time with a mic, but i thought it would be quite straight forward. Im plugging it into the mic socket in the speaker and the volume control on the start menu is up too.
